FAQS

1ChargeBridge Technical Architecture Overview
ChargeBridge is composed of two components. The first component runs on the Linux System-on-Module (SoM) and is responsible for all “high-level” communication. The second component handles the core charging logic, i.e., the “low-level” communication. Since all security-related code must be executed quickly, without delay, and independently from the Linux code, these tasks are carried out by the ChargeBridge firmware. Embedded in the microcontroller, this firmware can even perform vehicle charging (via PWM). However, it naturally lacks the functionality and complexity required for smart charging applications. Only the seamless combination of these two components ensures that the charger is both safe and reliable while maintaining its full functionality.
2Which charging standards are supported by the ChargeBridge Module?
The ChargeBridge is built individually for specific charging standards. CCS is the most commonly used standard in Europe and USA, but other ChargeBridge modules will also be available, e.g. one for MCS, for CHAdeMo, CHaoJi, GB/T, etc. As most of these modules are pin-compatible, they can be even exchanged on the controller – provided the controller was designed that way. This means that you can effectively switch from a CCS to an MCS station by replacing a ChargeBridge module (and the cable).
3What does the ChargeBridge Module cost?
ChargeBridge module pricing depends on the order volume and the power level in which it is to be used. For more specific information, please contact our sales team.
4如何将 ChargeBridge 模块集成到我自己的控制器设置中?
